It's a simple story - finding the best clay and sharing it with others.
I started Pale Irish to be healthier. I was introduced to the world of clay when I was travelling and sampled clay from different areas of the world. I always suffered from bad skin and would often get break outs of acne and pimples, spots..whatever you want to call them!
I had long known about mud baths, facial masks and cleansing spas, but they never did anything but annoy my skin. Bentonite Clay was completely different. I could feel it working as soon as soon as I put it on.
I was so worried when my skin went very red !on my first try, it felt very tight and almost like sunburn...luckily I was told this is how the clay works. It is a natural absorber...that's the secret. Absorption! It's actively drawing things out of the skin, and the same for inside the body.
When I returned home I kept using it, and learned more and more about Bentonite Clay and the different types of Calcium Bentonite Clay and Sodium Bentonite Clay...I bought them all and tried them all. It turns out not all clays are equal and I noticed the difference in the quality.
I have very sensitive skin, so this was always the true test...in the end I found the perfect clay and began sharing it with friends. After a while they said they wanted more and more so I began to sell it to them...and that was it!
Since then I've learned the best way to keep clay fresh over time (the wonderful zip bags which keep all the moisture and stops anything interfering with the clay).
I also have family members who has digestive problems, and again clay was the answer. A small amount of clay used internally has helped them a lot for IBS and other stomach issues, along with having a healthy diet and cutting out as many bad things going into the body to begin with.
And Bentonite clay does so much more:
